Rural Museums Network

09 September 2005

The Rural Museums Network is currently continuing work on identifying the “distributed national collection”, having completed reviews of tractors and combines the focus has now moved to the dairy sector. The colletions' pieces' are represented on the mage page of our mba essay writing service.

The email discussion group continues to provide an outstanding source of information and support for member museums across the UK, assisting with object identification, background information and a range of other topics.

In 2005 and 2006 the Building Relevance Programme, funded by MLA, will gather information on audiences across the sector and manage a series of creative forum meetings to identify how rural museums can enhance the service they provide to the community, culminating in pilot re-displays in a number of museums.

The Network has proved to be a strong voice for the rural sector and we encourage all rural museums to join the organisation, to benefit from the current services and to further enhance the Network’s credibility in representing the sector.

If you wish further information the committee members can be contacted at the addresses below. An application form can be found in the newsletter section of the RMN website.
